The Mandaly coffee table is solid teak and fully assembled at the factory. Sometimes called a "peanut table" because of its shape, the Mandalay will go perfectly with the Sumatra bench or armchairs and is produced by the same manufacturer.
The overall length of the coffee table is 120cms and it stands 60cms high.
A good quality Teak product, supplied in its natural wood finish, ready for oiling, if required.
If you do decide to oil this garden table, then you should use Teak oil or Linseed oil. Oiling will naturally darken the wood to a mid brown colour, rather than the light brown of natural teak. Oiling the wood wiil protect the teak from the sun, which burns out the natural oils present in all teak garden furniture. Without the oils, teak can be prone to fissures or cracking - quite natural for teak products. Oiling will replace any natural oil but the process will have to be repeated at least every 6 months to keep up with the weather!
Without oil, or if you stop oiling, the wood will turn a "silver grey" colour after about two years - this may be the look you prefer. Your new teak garden furniture item should last for many years as Teak is one of the best hardwoods for outdoor furniture use.
