If you are thinking of purchasing a new hammock, have a look at this great deal which has the hammock stand and the hammock itself included. The stand is the "Sumo" from Amazonas, which is a tubular steel stand, adjustable in length, and able to carry a weight load of up to 120Kg (Just under 19 stones). The colour is "Rockstone", which is almost Anthracite. You will not need any other fittings as the loops at either end of the hammock fit around a special hook on the top end of each of the stand spires.
The hammock is again from the Amazonas collection and is the Samba, Fuego colour. The colour is a series of variable width stripes, form end to end, in purple, mauve, lilac and red. The hammock material size is 200cms x 100cms and is kept in shape by use of a spreader bar at each end, which forms an integral part of the hammock, and is already built in to the hammock.
The hammock material is EllTex, which is a cotton and polyester mix, made in Brazil. EllTex is very weatherproof, hardly fades, and stays extremely tear proof, even after repeatedly getting wet. The surface is soft and snug, like pure cotton. The vibrant colours make the Fuego stand out in a crowd!
The stand is delivered in flatpack form for easy self assembly but this is quick and easy to do, with concise and clear instructions. The stand weighs 19Kg and is up to 330cms long, when extended.
