This is a very exciting special deal for the wooden stand and hammock as a complete package. This hammock stand has been especially designed and manufactured for those with a smaller budget, but who still want the elgance of a wooden stand. The frame is exclusive for the Starset and the Candy or Kolibri colour hammocks. Beautifully made from spruce, and weatherproofed, the wood used in the manufacture is sourced from sustainable forests in Europe. Overall the stand is 358cms long and the set can hold weights up to 120Kg (just under 19 stones).
The hammock featured here is the Tonga Candy colour, which is a single person hammock with end to end stripes in purple, pink and red, of various widths. The size of the actual material is 200cms x 100cms and overall, the length is 310cms, including the hammock chords. This hammock has spreader bars at each end, to keep the correct shape and the chords and bars are already built into the hammock when you receive it.
The Starset is a good starter kit if you have never owned a hammock before and you don't have any suitable places to hang it. The wooden stand is self assembly and weighs 16Kg. It has only 6 wooden parts and all the fittings are galvanised. The hammock is made of EllTex, which is a Polyester & cotton mix, very weatherproof and tear proof, hardly fading in the sun. It feels snug and soft like pure cotton.
All fixtures and fittings are supplied and the assembly instructions are concise and clear.
