Just about the largest hammock on the market. The Amazonas Gigante, shown here in Lava colours, has a total length of 450 cms and the hammock material is itself 300 cms long. The width of the material is 200cms and so you can tell, it's huge! The Gigante will hold several people and will take up to 280 Kg in weight (that's around 43 stone) and can provide a great place for friends to relax together.
There is not a stand large enough to take this hammock and so you will need trees or other solid objects to attach your hammock to and these should be at least 4 metres apart. The loops at either end of the hammock should be around 150cms off the ground.
This hammock is made of cotton in Amazonas' own factory in Brazil. It has been independently tested to ensure that it is Eco friendly and that there are no harmful substances in the material - so safe for the kids! The braided chords are especially thick to support the huge spread of this enormous hammock!
With 6 square metres of luxuriously woven hammock material, this Brazilian made garden hammock is a great idea for utilising space which you might otherwise have ignored. The manufactures recommend that you should lie diagonally across the hammock to keep your back as straight as possible.
