Traditional Garden Bench
This range of metal garden benches is based on designs which date back over 100 years. These ornate designs were first produced in Victorian times when garden furniture started to become the "must have". The benches were originally made from cast iron by the Victorians, and although at the time, this material was very popular, modern production methods utilise Cast Aluminium instead. This is lighter, rust free and less brittle than cast iron. Moulds are still used to pour in the molten metal and the finished product looks just like the original, but with better qualities.
Maintenance Free Garden Benches
As the cast aluminium is rust free, the is little or no maintenance on these benches, apart from the occasional clean. Some of the benches have the option of a wooden seat and this may require oiling, if you so wish. Our traditional garden benches are supplied fully assembled and are available in a choice of colours, with Black or White being the most popular. They are made to order in the UK and the British workmanship on these benches is second to none!
